The ducts are made by bending sheet metal and longitudinal stapling of machine-made borders. The channels, whose largest dimension exceeding 400 mm, are stiffened by transverse ribs, interspersed with a pitch of between 150 and 250 mm or with crosses of St. Andrew. The channels with the largest side dimension greater than 800 mm must be executed by means of the stiffening cross ribs.
